This project was a complete conversion/renovation with two large extensions. All the oak windows were sourced and installed by Clariott with crittal lead metal units. The external finish on the majority of the cottage was completed with lime render. All the original beams were left exposed and sand blasted. The traditional interior was chosen by the client and installed by Clariott.
This project was a complete renovation of a gated driveway including new brickwork to accommodate
bespoke electronic gates chosen by the client.
This project was a complete renovation of a cottage, requiring a new roof, full re-wiring and plumbing,
new kitchen and bathroom, plastering, flooring and decorating.
The project was completed to the clients specifications, on time and within budget.
This project was a bungalow situation with a beautiful view that needed modernising. The biggest drawback of this bungalow was lots of tiny rooms and extremely low ceilings. We took the roof off which gave extra ceiling height with lots of storage space above. We opened up the side of the house with bi-fold doors to enhance the view. It had a whole new heating system installed and brand new electrics throughout. The property had no insulation in the walls so all the external walls were insulated, plasterboard and plastered throughout.
Externally we added a wrap around patio with planters all edged with granite stone, a new driveway also edged with granite and a new parking bay, topped with golden gravel.
This project originally was some old stables c1880. With the planning rules and regulations it could not be demolished and re-built as a new footprint. We had to keep the structure upright at all times. Because of close proximity of oak trees, the structural engineer wanted 2.4m deep underpins. This had to be done in sections as to keep the barn standing. Once the original barn was habitable planning consent as a second phase was for two extensions either side and a large open plan kitchen/diner 10m x 7m to the rear.
This project is currently ongoing and the Clariott team will have it water tight and oak clad in the coming weeks.
