Initially the kitchen garden was laid solely to grass and a meagre patio walkway. The clients vision was to create a large entertaining area which incorporated focal points, a dining area, a sunbathing area, water feature and create further interest through generous planting to create a traditional English kitchen country garden. With a very high hedge to the rear of the garden, they wanted to build a raised area so they could sit and enjoy the view across the valley. All the flower beds were under-lit and automatic watering installed. All the planting was designed, supplied and installed by award winning Roger Platts and his team.
